Play by Email (PBEM) football is a unique and engaging way to experience the thrill of football management without the need for real-time interactions. In this format, you will take on the role of a football manager, making strategic decisions for your team, which are then executed over a series turns.
How PBEM Football Works
As a manager, you will create your team and define their strategies. The match results are determined by a combination of team statistics, player skills, and tactical decisions. You will submit various actions via the turnsheet, such as training sessions, transfers, and match strategies. These will then be processed, including match results, league standings, and individual player performances and the website will be updated to reflect the weeks outcomes.
Community Engagement: One of the key aspects of PBEM football is the strong community that forms around it. Players often discuss strategies, share their experiences, and engage in friendly banter about their teams and rivalries. This social element adds depth and excitement to the game, as players feel a sense of camaraderie and competition.

FTW Live
Every turn a live session is scheduled with the GM. All current managers are welcome to join as is anyone who wants to find out more about the game.
If you join a session you can ask questions and get answers in real time as well as asking for hints and tips about the game, scout for players and get inside information about your club.
These sessions are a great way to get to know the game and the GM and to meet other managers.

The blend value effects how well players gel together, and therefore, how they will perform on the pitch
If players have a simililar blend they will perform better together

The match engine takes into account the size of the crowd, the noise they make and the atmosphere they create
You have a decision to make, do you build a big stadium that will help your team win home games or invest in the squad?
Tactics
There are many different formations and tactics you can use as well as the levels of agression you employ
One unique feature of FTW is the 'pressing' element of the tactics. Do you go with a high energy, all out press or do you save players legs for later in the game?

How you deploy your resources is up to you
Do you invest in the squad, the stadium or the staff?
Do you save for a rainy day or do you spend big to win now?
